The 7th Edition of the Delhi International Jazz Festival 2017 Is Here! Find out more details!

MUSIC KNOWS NO BOUNDARIES, ESPECIALLY JAZZ – There are many reasons to visit Delhi- eccentric cuisine, impressive infrastructure, an ideal culmination of modernity and heritage, and of course- a lot of ‘dilwale’. This month, the 7th edition of International Jazz Festival is going to jazz up the city with heartfelt saxophone sounds and soulful rhythms.

For some, music is just about exhibiting suppressed emotions, for some, it is a way of interacting and connecting with different people and for some, it’s just a way of life. However, watching videos on a relaxing Sunday on a couch is one thing and witnessing international artists live is other. While one of the most whimsical music events in India is scheduled from 23rd-25th September, 2017 at Nehru Park, we don’t think you have any reason to not count days for it!

The music festival will have performances from groups and craftsmen like Hvunpill Shin (Korea), Tovalin-Mercado Jazz Duet (Mexico), Alaska Snack Time (Israel), Orilla Del Mundo by Alfonso Aroca (Spain), Lorenzo Naccarato Trio(France), Sizhukong (Taiwan), and Alaska Snack Time (Israel), among others.

Since its inception, the International Jazz Festival organized by The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) has managed a grand opening. The 7th edition has already set the stage for artists to orchestrate some wonderful symphonies. However, the weather won’t be on your side this year, but you have no reason to miss this one-of-its-kind music event in India! You would ask why?

Like last year, the festival will be held with same enthusiasm where the audience would definitely want to watch more by the end of the performance. The culture of Jazz that started in the late 1920s in India has become a religion today – and the Jazz festival, like every year, adds a lot more to the genre.

What better than to attend a music festival like this on a weekend! For both music lovers and travelers alike, this eclectic festival is surely going to be an experience! Block the dates already!

Update:  Lorenzo Naccarato Trio from France; 4 On A Swing from Kolkata; the Yogev Shetrit Trio from Israel; UNK: The Radha Thomas Ensemble from Bangalore; Sizhukong from Taiwan; and the Rattle and Hum Music Society from Nagaland., Timings are from 6:30 pm to 9 pm!
